Electric Golf Car Info
![]() |
Electric Golf Cars are powered by Batteries, a Motor, and a Motor- Controller. Pros: They are just as fast and they have fewer moving parts than gas cars. They are extremely reliable and easy to maintain. Cons: Replacing the batteries can be expensive every (5-7 years). |
| Daily Care | Plug in your car at night (do not leave plugged in for weeks at a time) . |
| Weekly Care | Make sure tires are properly inflated (reduces drag and wear). Make sure there is .25" of water above plates in batteries. |
| Monthly Care | Wash entire car. Do not wash charger. Remove seat and wash battery pack with pressure washer or garden hose. |
| Yearly Care | Check all battery cables and connections. Cable-ends deteriorate rapidly if not kept clean. Make sure there is oil in the differential case. Grease all available zerks in steering assembly. |
| Winter Storage | "Good" batteries will not be dammaged if they are fully charged, correctly filled with water, and all sources of draw disconnected. |
| Spring Charging | If your batteries are dead in the spring. Disconnect each battery and charge them individually with a "Trickle-Charger". Then re-connect them and plug the car in normally. |
| Service | We can provide ALL of these services and so much more. |
